• A meso -scale phase filed model for concrete cover cracking induced by corrosion of multiple reinforcements is developed. The crack patterns and width development are obtained. developed method enables high fidelity numerical models with up to tens millions degrees freedom. Crack deflection, aggregate/mortar bridging bifurcation in have been captured the model. Corrosion-induced one major deterioration mechanisms reinforced (RC) structures. Concrete caused at involves complex toughening mechanism, stress redistribution interaction. It brings significant challenge accurately predicting which, most cases, represents a critical stage serviceability. This paper aims develop reinforcements. treated as three-phase heterogeneous material, consisting aggregates, mortar interfacial transition zones (ITZ). implemented into ABAQUS explicit regime through an in-house VUEL subroutine. also verified against experimental results on patterns. Further, parametric study carried out investigate effects reinforcement spacing, thickness, ITZ fracture properties cracking.
